Tenali AI Desktop Is Live on Product Hunt
We built a native Mac app that gives sales reps real-time AI answers during live calls — no bot, no recording notification, no typing. Today it's live on Product Hunt.

Today we're launching Tenali AI Desktop on Product Hunt — and I want to tell you why this moment matters to me personally.
Three years ago, I lost a $2M deal at VMware because I couldn't answer two technical questions fast enough on a live call. Budget was approved. Champion was aligned. Legal was cleared. But at 5 PM on the last day of the quarter, when the prospect's security lead asked something specific, I didn't have the answer. By 6 PM, the deal was gone.
That moment broke something in me — and then it built something.
I taught myself software engineering and spent the next three years building the tool I wished I'd had on that call. Today, that tool is live.
What We Built
Tenali AI Desktop is a native Mac app that listens to your sales calls in real time, detects when a buyer asks a question, and surfaces the precise answer from your company's knowledge base — privately, on your screen, before you need to say a word.
No bot joins your call. No recording notification. No browser extension. No typing into a chatbot while your prospect waits. The answer just appears.
Your buyer doesn't know AI is involved. They just see a rep who always has the answer.
Why It's Different
Every sales AI tool on the market today either helps you before the call or after the call. The actual live conversation — the moment where deals are won or lost — has been completely unserved.
Bot-based tools tried to solve this, but they made it worse. The moment a "Recording Bot has joined the meeting" notification pops up, the conversation changes. Prospects get guarded. The candid moments disappear. Reps told us the same thing over and over: "I love the answers, but my prospects keep asking about the bot."
So we threw out the entire architecture and rebuilt from scratch. Tenali captures system audio at the OS level — the same technology that powers screen recording on macOS — without injecting anything into the call. It works on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Dialpad, Orum, Nooks, WhatsApp, Slack huddles, and anything else that plays audio on your Mac.
We're calling this category In-Call Intelligence — and we think it's the missing layer in every sales team's tech stack.
