What is Tenali AI?

Tenali AI is a real-time in-call intelligence platform for enterprise sales teams. It listens to live sales calls, detects buyer questions as they happen, and surfaces the exact answer from your company's knowledge base in under one second. No meeting bots. No post-call analysis. Answers show up while the conversation is still happening.

Tenali AI runs as a lightweight desktop overlay on the rep's screen. It works across Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, desk phones, WhatsApp, and 30+ other platforms. The buyer never sees it and never knows it is there.

The problem Tenali AI solves

Sales reps lose deals because they cannot answer technical questions on live calls. When a buyer asks about security architecture, competitive pricing, or a specific integration, the rep says "I'll get back to you on that." That follow-up email often arrives too late. The buyer has moved on, spoken to a competitor, or lost momentum internally.

The answers usually exist somewhere inside the company. They are buried in Salesforce records, Google Drive folders, Slack threads, past call transcripts, or a Confluence wiki that no one can find during a live conversation. The knowledge is there. The problem is access and speed.

Tenali AI was built by a former VMware enterprise seller who lost a $2M deal because he could not answer two technical questions on a live call. The answers were in the company's internal docs, but he could not find them fast enough. That experience became the founding insight: sales teams do not need more content. They need instant access to the content they already have, right when the buyer asks the question.

How Tenali AI works

1. One-click start. The rep opens the Tenali desktop app and clicks "Start Recording." From that point, Tenali listens to every call on the machine. There is no per-call setup. One click covers an entire day of back-to-back calls.

2. Real-time question detection. As the conversation happens, Tenali logically understands what is being discussed. It detects when a buyer asks a question, raises an objection, or brings up a competitor.

3. Instant knowledge retrieval. In under one second, Tenali searches the company's connected knowledge base: CRM records, Google Drive, Slack, past call transcripts, internal wikis, and enablement content. It returns the exact answer, not a list of documents.

4. Answer delivery. The answer appears in a small overlay on the rep's screen. The rep can read it verbatim, paraphrase it, or use it as a reference. The buyer sees nothing.

How Tenali AI is different

Tenali AI created the "In-Call Intelligence" category. This is distinct from two other categories in sales technology:
